Thank You So Much For All You Have Done

Thank you so much for all you have done for Ada. She is going to miss your fun, kind and nurturing pre-school so much! As will us as a family.

Hopefully we cross paths again soon but for now it's goodbye.

Charlotte Grasby

Our Values

At Curious Explorers we understand the importance of the relationship between your child and our carers.

Our qualified staff are skilled in ensuring that the time your child spends with us will be filled with discovery, stimulation and enjoyment. Your child will discover confidence, social skills and independence within a supportive, friendly and welcoming environment.

Our high staff-to-child ratios mean that your child will be encouraged to develop close friendships within their peer group. It also enables our staff to give your child the security and confidence of a familiar, trusted and supportive carer.

The continuity of care we offer guarantees that discussions about your child’s progress are meaningful and based upon personal observed experience.

"It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge" - Albert Einstein

Our Values

Our Goals

At Curious Explorers we aim to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment.

This will enable your child to learn through play, gain independence and to socially develop while following the early learning goals.

Each child will be respected and treated as an individual and any needs arising from race, culture, language and religion will be taken into account.

All parents should have confidence in both their children's well being and their role as active partners with the Pre-School.

"Good schools, like good societies, and good families, celebrate and cherish diversity." - Deborah Meier

Our Goals

Our Approach To Learning

At Curious Explorers, we believe that young children learn best when they are happy, confident and having fun.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) , but our approach is relaxed, child-centred and led by the individual needs and interests of each child.

Our children are given plenty of opportunities to play, explore, investigate, create and discover. Whether they are building, painting, sharing stories, enjoying messy play, singing and dancing, exploring outdoors or simply playing with their friends, they are developing important skills along the way.

We encourage children to make choices, try new things, solve problems and become increasingly independent, while always having the reassurance and support of our caring team when they need it.

We recognise that every child develops at their own pace. By getting to know each child really well and working closely with their family, we can provide experiences that support their individual development while celebrating their personalities, interests and achievements.

Above all, we want to nurture a love of learning that begins with curiosity - because at Curious Explorers, we believe the best learning starts with a little exploring.

"Children who play in inspirational, safe and challenging environments will take these values into adulthood and pass them on to future generations." - D Rouse and S Griffin

Our Approach To Learning

First Days At Our Pre-School

When your child first joins us, we will work with you to support them through the transition ensuring they are settled. As every child is an individual, we will tailor our approach to suit your child.

We will arrange a visit to familiarise your child with the Pre-School giving you an opportunity to update us with your child's current developments.

On your child's first session, you are welcome to stay until your child feels comfortable and when you leave we will call you during that first session to let you know how the child is settling in. Before long your child will be having fun with us and making new friends.

Naturally, you know your child better than anyone, so our carers will work closely with you to get to know your child's individual needs and personality - and provide you with regular feedback on how they are progressing.

We recognise that we not only have a responsibility for providing exceptional care for your child, but we also need to deliver an excellent service to you.

At Curious Explorerss, we pride ourselves on our understanding of the things that really matter to parents when it comes to care - the challenges you face, the worries you wrestle with and the hopes and aspirations you have.

We believe that the highest quality childcare can only be delivered in close partnership with parents.
