Loved All My Time With You

You are one of my favourite people. I will miss our custard creams together but my mummy and daddy said you have not seen the last of me.
After settling in and feeling they belong, children will meet familiar adults and friends, do some exciting activities, have quiet cuddles and stories, feel safe enough to explore and try new things, help themselves and make choices and can ask for help at any time.
Children are more likely to learn when they are happy and occupied by stimulating activities.
Curious Explorers follow regular daily routines. Children are offered free time to choose from the huge range of activities and equipment as well as structured periods on curriculum subjects.
Our basic school uniform is available but not compulsory. Please ask for details. In cold weather please provide sensible outside clothing and Wellingtons for outdoor play.
For your child's comfort and any sports we may do during a session please provide plimsolls or slippers. Many activities in pre-school involve messy materials such as paint or glue. We have aprons but paint still manages to work itself up the sleeves.
In summer please make sure your child wears suitable clothing, which covers their shoulders, and provide a hat to protect them from the sun's rays.
Sunscreen would be advisable during the summer months especially if your child is particularly sensitive. Please let our staff know.
Curious Explorers is a busy place and are structured for children when they are fit and healthy. If your child is unwell, please think carefully before bringing them to Pre-School.
No child with a temperature or an infectious disease should be at Pre-School. A child with vomiting or diarrhoea must be kept at home for 48 hours after the symptoms have ceased.
Please discuss any symptoms with our operations manager.
In the unlikely event that your child should have an accident whilst in our care, every effort will be made to contact you immediately. In any case we will ensure your child receives medical attention as required.
All incidents however minor will be reported to you.
If you are considering sending your child to us and require further information or a school visit, please do not hesitate to contact us.
